Soaking up the last day...

The high school student leaders hanging out.
The Dance Crew doing the dance they learned during the breakout sessions.
They had the opportunity to share what they learned with everyone else.
The boys doing their rap! They did awesome.
Our very own wonderful Chefs. They took good care of us. We even had steaks on the last night. Wow, that's better than Andrew and I eat at home!!

Quiet Time with Jesus...my favorite part of the day.

Last Day in Pictures, because today was a busy day! Thank you for entrusting your child with us. It was a great trip! We will see you tomorrow. Please pray for our safety as we travel.

Happy 4th of July to all!

Worship was Amazing! I'll STAND with Arms High and Heart Abandoned.

Gotta enjoy the Late Night Swim!

It doesn't get much better than fireworks on the beach! However, I'm sure if I asked all of the students they would say it was only missing one thing-- their loving Family. Today we talked about Love. Not just love for pizza, love for friends, or love for family kind of love. We reflected on the "Crazy Love" our Savior has for us. So much love that we need to let it change our lives. That people would see God in us in everything we do. Some of the days' highlights were going to classes and learning how we can give God the glory in all areas of our lives (even cooking) , Scavenger Hunt on the beach, Worship, lots of good food, and a late night swim with devotions. Very Cool! We hope you had a great 4th of July! Only one more day left here at Panama Beach Resort. Definitely more sunburns today. I have been passing around a lot of Aloe.

All I have to say is ....reapply or OUCH!! Award for best sunburn of the day! Or should I say Worst??

Secret to getting Middle Schoolers to wake up...

All 81 of us woke up this morning at the exact same time. 7:20 AM! Only because the Fire Alarm at the Hotel was going off. (Hint-The weird picture of the girls frowning at the loud device.) Don't worry. The hotel wasn't on fire. Someone just burnt the toast down at the Continental Breakfast. I wish I had a picture of all of us outside in our PJ's. It was quite the sight!
It has been so fun hanging out with everyone today, getting to know each other better while eating, going to the beach, worshiping, playing games, and sharing in small groups about what God is teaching us.
Amazingly, because we made sure they all had sunblock -- No severe sunburns today!! Yeah! Just a few rosy cheeks!
I'm sorry the pictures are small, but you can click on them to enlarge. (I was having a lot of technical difficulties. Hopefully it will be better tomorrow.)

A Long Day on the Road...

We made it! First of all, thank you Lord for letting us all arrive here safely without any true break-downs. (We had one minor bus problem that got fixed while we ate our dinner.) The real memories are made when you ride 10+ hours on a bus making new friends and deepening the relationships with ones you already have. Andrew and I are so proud of the way the “first-timers” have jumped right in without missing a beat. Please continue to pray for our safety and that your babies would be open to what God has in-store for them this weekend. Don’t worry Mom, no tears today. I can say with confidence everyone has enjoyed themselves. See for yourself…
